James, of London Veterinary Services, holds the RCVS recognised certificate in Small Animal Surgery and has a huge range of surgical experience having worked within the PDSA and as the head of a surgical team.
Alison Shearer BVetMed CertSAD MRCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Dermatology, is our referral dermatologist, running pre-arranged dermatology clinics in our practice. Alison, together with David Shearer ( BVetMed CertSAD PhD CBiol MSB MRCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Dermatology) form the team at Vetcutis providing comprehensive dermatological investigation and treatment for patient's. Their service provides both hands-on referral clinics to discuss and investigate the wide spectrum of dermatological cases arising in small animal medicine, alongside specialised and comprehensive laboratory based diagnostics.
Our Computed Radiography digital X-ray equipment not only allows us to take high quality images in a short space of time, but it also allows us to transfer them digitally for review if required. Images can be sent to boarded specialists in diagnostic imaging, and we work with a number of centres to provide the best reviews for our cases. Routinely, we contact Dick White Referrals, The Royal Veterinary College, and 'Vet CT' who provide same day feed back.
Catherine Thomas BVM&S MRCVS CertAVP(ZooMed), of Suffolk Exotic Vet Services, has a wide range of experience and vast knowledge of exotic animal species. Catherine is available for both consultations and advice when dealing with exotic patients to provide further insight into their condition.
