Kieren Peterkin

Veterinary Surgeon

Kieren graduated from Sydney University in 1997 and planned on spending a year working and travelling around Europe. Twenty years later he is still here! Kieren is our well respected Head Veterinary Surgeon. He has a special interest in medicine cases and is a fantastic boss and mentor. He lives with his wife Lucy, their two children, Peggy the dog and their ginger cat, Ron. When he is not working, Kieren likes to travel, relax with family and friends and renovate their bungalow. Being a true Aussie he loves nothing better than a BBQ and a beer in the sun.

Lucy Peterkin

Practice Manager

Lucy is our practice manager and our main front of house. She loves nothing more than taking time to get to know all of our clients (two and four legged). She can usually be found in reception cuddling dogs, giving out treats and recommending our new range of delicious candles and quality toys. After taking time out to be a full time mum, Lucy returned to work in 2012. Now that both children are at school Lucy is in the practice most days. Lucy loves running with the local running club Fram Flyers, dog walks with the family and cooking.

Head Veterinary Nurse

Nicol has thirteen years veterinary nursing experience, and qualified in 2010. She is one of our head nurses and plays a key role in the organisation of the practice. She has a special and gentle way with cats. When not working loves to socialise with friends, travel and dance. Nicol lives with her three legged cat BA, Dotty and her latest rescue Bea.

Claire Thomas

Head Veterinary Nurse

Claire qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1998. She is one of our head nurses and a nurse training coach. She has completed a Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing in Anaesthesia, Radiography and Medicine! She is also our resident lab guru. In her free time, Claire loves living in the country side and walking her Jug x Cavi, Elmo. She also enjoys travelling and spending time with friends and family.

Danni Szukalski

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Danni joined us in 2016 as our clinic assistant, however she was already familiar with the practice as she had completed a two year work experience placement with us. When we heard she was looking for a job we were eager to snap her up! She is currently studying hard as she has commenced her veterinary nursing training this year. Danni lives with her dogs Mitch and Ruby and spends most of her spare time horse riding or at the stables.

Megan Berry

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Megan is in her final year of Veterinary Nurse training.  She has completed a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management from Otley College. Megan lives locally with her herd of sixteen Alpacas and three Labradors and Ralph the whippet! When not with her animals, Megan loves sleeping and shopping with her friends.   Megan is in the perfect position to support Danni with her training and they have formed a really solid friendship.

Teresa Driver

Accounts and Office Management

Teresa has worked as a veterinary receptionist for over 20 years. She is extremely organised so is now running our accounts department, she also plays a vital role in dealing with insurance claims.   When not at work, she spends time with her Chihuahua and many exotic cats, amongst which is a Selkirk Rex!

Hayley Scott Webb

Head Receptionist

Hayley has over 30 years of veterinary receptionist experience! She is full of knowledge and loves nothing more than a good chat with clients and their pets. She has a pack of 10 dogs at home, amongst these are show Border Collies and Chihuhuas. She loves spending her time off going away with her husband, Dean.

Receptionist

Nikki joined us in 2016 as part of our new reception team. She lives with Mia the German Shepard and loves horse riding and game shooting in her spare time.

Rebecca Wallis

Receptionist

Part of our new reception team Becky joined us in 2016. She also runs her own equine rehabilitation and livery yard and is a PADI dive master!  When not at work Becky is often exercising horses, dog walking or running around after her children!

Sally Page

Receptionist

Sally is the final member of our new reception team and started work with us in December 2016.  Sally lives locally with her husband. In her spare time Sally loves cooking and often treats us all to her delicious baking (her quiche is our  favourite!)  Sally also enjoys long walks with Barney her black Labrador.

Marta Cunha

Veterinary Surgeon

Marta joined the Veterinary Surgeons team in 2017. She has relocated from Portugal with her partner Tiago.  Marta has a passion for small animal practice and a special interest in ultrasound imaging, dental work & hygiene and soft tissue surgery. When she is not working, Marta loves playing violin, singing, and travelling.

Carolina Oliveira

Veterinary Surgeon

Carolina relocated from Portugal in May 2017. She has very quickly become a valuable member of our team.  She has a very calm and patient way with our more timid and nervous patients, winning over even the most anxious of dogs.  She makes us all smile everyday with her humour and enthusiasm for life.  When not working hard Carolina enjoys the gym and cross fit, she also loves walks with Suri (her dog!)

Natalie Cardin

Trainee Saturday Receptionist

Natalie joined the team in December 2017 as a Saturday receptionist.    There is a lot to learn, however she seems to be taking it all in her stride! Natalie loves meeting all the animals and talking to clients.   Natalie is still in full time education so her weeks are very busy.  To relax she enjoys seeing her friends, swimming and playing netball.
